Judge Frank Caprio Asks for Prayers After Health ‘Setback

Providence, R.I. - On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, legendary Judge Frank Caprio asked his followers for renewed prayers. He faced a health setback and returned to the hospital.
In a video posted on social media Tuesday night, Caprio, 88, thanked everyone for their support during his fight with pancreatic cancer. He mentioned that he “came through a very difficult period” but is now facing new complications. ““Unfortunately I’ve had a setback and I’m back at the hospital,” he said in the brief clip. ““So I ask you again, if it’s not too much, to remember me in your prayers.”
Caprio announced he had cancer in December 2023. He completed his last radiation treatment in May 2024. In the past two years, he has inspired millions.
