Sparks Dominate Wings 93–79 at Crypto.com Arena to Snap Three-Game Skid

LOS ANGELES (Aug. 21, 2025) - The Los Angeles Sparks snapped their three-game losing streak. They won 93–79 against the Dallas Wings on Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena. After a hard-fought first half, the Sparks raised their intensity after the break and didn’t look back.
By halftime, Los Angeles held a narrow 45–40 lead thanks to a late three-point play by Odísy Sims. The Sparks opened the third quarter with a quick 6–0 run. They then added a 9–0 spurt early in the fourth. This built their lead to 76–55.
Azurá Stevens led the way with 21 points and hit a career-high five three-pointers. Dearica Hamby added a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Kelsey Plum was close to a triple-double. She recorded 11 points, nine assists, and five rebounds. Odyssey Sims added 19 points and three more triples to round out a balanced attack.
Dallas was led by DiJonai Carrington, who scored 16 points. Still, the Wings struggled to guard Los Angeles’s perimeter shooting and turned the ball over 18 times. The loss put Dallas at 9–27 for the season. Meanwhile, the Sparks moved up to 17–18. They are now just half a game from the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.
