Pizza Hut Introduces $5 “Crafted Flatzz” to Increase Lunch Traffic Today, Pizza Hut launched “Crafted Flatzz.” This is a thinner, crisper pizza made for one. It’s priced at $5 before 5 p.m. local time. Prices may change by region after that. The new offering comes in five varieties: chicken ranch, pepperoni, and “The Ultimate.” It targets budget-savvy diners and hopes to stop seven quarters of declining U.S. sales. Executives see lunchtime as a chance for growth. They pointed out that more than two-thirds of Pizza Hut’s pizza sales happen after 4 p.m. They believe the value-priced Flatzz will encourage more visits during the day.
