MaxPreps Previews Five High School Football Matchups for August 23, 2025
EL DORADO HILLS, Calif., Aug. 23, 2025 – MaxPreps has revealed its pregame coverage for Saturday. It will showcase five non-conference high school football games. These games focus on regional rivalries and exciting early-season showdowns across the nation.
In Massachusetts, Abby Kelley Foster (Worcester) will welcome Quabbin Regional. This game is likely to be a tight contest to kick off the day. Ashland visits Franklin for a non-conference game in New England. This matchup is notable as both teams seek to gain momentum for the season ahead.
Out in the Midwest, Noblesville (Ind.) plays host to Harvest Covenant in the Homeschool Football Classic at 10 a.m., with both teams seeking a signature early-season victory. In Michigan, East Kentwood faces Detroit King at 1 p.m. MaxPreps highlights this as a key game to watch on Saturday.
In Georgia, Richmond Hill will face Glynn Academy at noon. This game features two strong teams from the coastal leagues.
