Rams Edge Browns 14-10 in Preseason Finale

CLEVELAND (August 23, 2025) - The Los Angeles Rams upset the Cleveland Browns in their home finale. They came back to win 14-10 at Huntington Bank Field.
The Browns scored first. Quarterback Joe Flacco hit tight end Harold Fannin Jr. with a 15-yard touchdown pass. This gave Cleveland a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter. The Browns added to their lead with a 46-yard field goal by Dustin Hopkins in the second quarter. This put them ahead 10-0 at halftime.
Los Angeles answered in the second half. Backup quarterback Dresser Winn guided the Rams on a strong drive. He finished it with a short touchdown run in the third quarter. This made the score 10-7. Later in the quarter, Winn found a hole in Cleveland’s defense. He ran seven yards into the end zone, giving Los Angeles the lead for good.
Neither team scored in the final 15 minutes. Browns starters had a mix of results. Flacco was 9 of 10 for 71 yards and one touchdown before he left the game. Rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel played a lot but couldn’t lead a game-winning drive. Defensively, Cleveland struggled to contain the Rams’ backups, surrendering 14 unanswered points.
Cleveland finishes the preseason at 2-1. They will set their 53-man roster before the start of the regular season. Los Angeles improves to 3-0 in exhibition play.
