**Week 0 of College Football: Exciting Aer Lingus Classic and Four More Games**

Iowa State started the 2025 season with an exciting comeback win over Kansas State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Later today, four more Week 0 games will kick off.
Iowa State 24, Kansas State 21 Aviva Stadium, Dublin | Aer Lingus Classic No. 22 Iowa State rallied late for a 24–21 win over No. 17 Kansas State, spoiling the Wildcats’ bid for a season-opening victory on Irish soil. Quarterback Rocco Becht had a strong game. He scored three touchdowns: two passing and one rushing. He completed 14 of 28 passes for 183 yards. Then, he added a late rush to secure the win. Running back Carsen Hansen added 71 yards on 16 carries. He also made a crucial 17-yard catch on Iowa State’s last scoring drive. Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson passed for 273 yards and two touchdowns. He added a rushing score, too. But the Wildcats’ attempt on fourth-and-one with less than seven minutes left didn’t work. Johnson was stopped short, letting the Cyclones run down the clock. They capped it off with a 34-yard field goal by Kyle Konrardy.
