UFC Shanghai: Su Mudaerji Outclasses Kevin Borjas

Shanghai, China (August 23, 2025) - Flyweight contender Su Mudaerji put on a strong show against Kevin Borjas at UFC Fight Night. Walker faced Zhang at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. He won by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 30–27.

Borjas, 27, came into the Octagon on a high after beating Ronaldo Rodriguez by unanimous decision in March. But he found it hard to keep up with Mudaerji’s accurate striking. Mudaerji hit Borjas three times more often. He shut down all five of Borjas’s takedown tries. This proved his striking ability and grappling defense.

With the loss, Borjas now stands at 1–3 in the UFC and 10–4 overall. In contrast, Mudaerji improves to 5–4 in UFC bouts and has won two in a row.
