Warner Bros. has picked up the spec script *With the 8th Pick*. Written by Alex Sohn and Gavin Johannsen, it focuses on the twists of the 1996 NBA Draft. Producers Tim and Trevor White, famous for King Richard, are working with Gotham Chopra and Ryan Stowell from Religion of Sports. No director or cast has yet been announced.
