Baby Emmanuel Haro Update – August 24, 2025

CABAZON, Calif. (Aug. 24, 2025) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department stated that they still believe 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro has died. They are actively searching for his remains.

Sheriff Shannon Dicus said Sunday morning, “We believe Emmanuel is deceased. Our focus is on finding his remains.” We will not waver in our efforts until we bring this little boy home”.

There haven’t been any new arrests since last week. That’s when murder charges were filed against Emmanuel’s parents, Jake Haro, 32, and Rebecca Haro, 41. Both are held without bail at Riverside County Jail on murder charges. They were arrested on August 22.

Authorities confirmed that:

  • Search warrants were served at the Haro family home in Cabazon. Cadaver dogs searched the property.
  • Investigators are looking at all digital evidence from the couple’s devices and their vehicle.
  • Riverside County child protective services removed a 2-year-old sibling from the home to be safe.

The department urges anyone with info about Emmanuel’s disappearance to call the homicide detail at (909) 890-4904.
