“NYPD Blue” Star Ricky Schroder Marries Theater Actress Julie Trammel in Seaside Cabo Ceremony

LOS ANGELES (August 25, 2025) - Veteran actor Ricky Schroder, best known for his roles on Silver Spoons and NYPD Blue, and theater actress Julie Trammel have tied the knot in an intimate beach wedding at the Four Seasons Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The couple exchanged vows on July 9 after obtaining their marriage license on July 2 at the Ouray County Courthouse in Colorado. Initially planning a Fourth of July ceremony in Ouray, they pivoted to the seaside venue when the courthouse was closed for the holiday. Describing their private nuptials as “a dream come true,” the newlyweds celebrated alone on the sand, exchanging heartfelt vows against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

Trammel, who has since taken Schroder’s surname, first introduced the wedding photos on Instagram on August 20, sharing a slideshow accompanied by the Bible verse Matthew 19:6: “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Schroder reshared the post, adding, “I love Julie” to his Instagram Story.

The pair first met through a mutual friend and became engaged over Memorial Day weekend in 2024. Schroder, 55, and Trammel, 40, say they were drawn to Cabo after watching the latest season of The White Lotus, joking that “Cabo is much closer than Thailand!” as the inspiration for their venue choice.

As they embark on this new chapter together, Schroder and Trammel expressed gratitude for their intimate ceremony and excitement for the future, noting, “You never know what’s around the corner… for us, it was love.”
