SNOOP DOGG RECEIVES STAR ON HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. - On Monday, August 25, 2025, rap legend Snoop Dogg was immortalized with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 16-time Grammy-nominated artist, born Calvin Broadus Jr., joined the ranks of entertainment’s most celebrated figures with the unveiling ceremony held in front of the El Capitan Entertainment Center on Hollywood Boulevard.

Jimmy Kimmel, whose show tapes nearby, served as master of ceremonies, while long-time collaborators Dr. Dre and Quincy Jones joined family and friends to pay tribute to the Doggfather’s enduring impact on music and culture. This honor comes just days before the 25th anniversary of his landmark debut album, Doggystyle, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has since sold more than 11 million copies worldwide. With hits like “Gin and Juice,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” and “Who Am I? The Walk of Fame committee noted that Snoop’s star is the 2,651st added since the landmark’s inception in 1961, underscoring the rapper’s status as one of the most influential entertainers of his generation.
