Posthumous Memoir of Virginia Giuffre Set for October Release

New York, August 25, 2025 - Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s candid memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, will be published posthumously on October 21, publisher Alfred A. Knopf announced Monday. Giuffre, who died by suicide in April at age 41, completed the 400-page manuscript shortly before her death and expressed a “heartfelt wish” for its release regardless of her personal circumstances.

In a statement accompanying the announcement, Knopf included an email Giuffre sent to her co-author, journalist Amy Wallace, just 25 days before her passing. “The content of this book is crucial, as it aims to shed light on the systemic failures that allow the trafficking of vulnerable individuals across borders,” Giuffre wrote on April 1. She added, “In the event of my passing, I would like to ensure that Nobody’s Girl is still released. I believe it has the potential to impact many lives and foster necessary discussions about these grave injustices”.

Nobody’s Girl promises to reveal new, intimate details of Giuffre’s account of sex trafficking by financier Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. The memoir also addresses her allegations that she was trafficked as a teenager to Britain’s Prince Andrew-a claim Andrew has consistently denied. Giuffre and the Duke of York reached an out-of-court settlement in 2022 that prevented the claims from proceeding to trial.

Knopf affirmed that the memoir was “vigorously fact-checked and legally vetted” before publication. The book is co-authored by Wallace, who collaborated with Giuffre for four years on the project. As one of the most prominent survivors to speak out against Epstein’s network, Giuffre’s narrative is expected to reignite public scrutiny of her enduring fight for justice.
