Andorra Opens Higher Education Scholarships and Showcases National Art at Fira Tàrrega

Andorra’s government launched the call for applications to its 2025-2026 higher education scholarships today and announced the debut of an Andorran artistic proposal at the prestigious Fira Tàrrega arts fair, underscoring the principality’s commitment to both academic support and cultural promotion.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Learning officially opened the application period for grants covering tuition and living expenses for Andorran students enrolling in university or equivalent post-secondary programs. Eligible candidates can submit their requests through the government portal until the deadline set later this autumn. The scholarships aim to promote academic excellence and reduce financial barriers for Andorran youth pursuing studies abroad or at domestic institutions.
In a parallel development, the Department of Culture unveiled that, for the first time, an Andorran artistic creation will feature at Fira Tàrrega, one of Europe’s leading performing arts festivals held in Catalonia. This collaboration follows the renewal of a cooperation agreement between the Government of Andorra and Fira Tàrrega organizers, securing support for the presence, promotion, and dissemination of Andorran talents on an international stage.
These twin announcements reflect Andorra’s dual strategy of investing in its human capital through educational funding while elevating its cultural footprint across Europe.
