California Lottery News - August 26, 2025

Los Angeles, CA (August 26, 2025) - The California Lottery saw another surge in its multi-state jackpot games today, as no top-prize winners emerged and rolling jackpots climbed to historic highs.

Just one day after the $750 million Powerball® jackpot went unclaimed on Monday, California Lottery officials confirmed that the jackpot grew to an estimated $815 million, its seventh-largest payout in game history. The estimated cash value stands at $367.9 million, to be paid as a single lump sum or an annuity of 30 escalating annual installments. The winning numbers drawn on Monday night were 16-19-34-37-64 with a Powerball of 22; the Power Play® multiplier was 3. Two tickets in Georgia and Texas each matched five white balls to win $1 million prizes, while Maryland produced a $500,000 Double Play® winner. California has not produced a Powerball jackpot winner since May 31.
