Fox Channels Rally Viewers via KeepFOX.com Amid YouTube TV Carriage Dispute

August 26, 2025 (DETROIT/TAMPA BAY) - Fox Corporation escalated its public campaign today to retain carriage on YouTube TV, directing subscribers to KeepFOX.com for updates and urging them to pressure YouTube TV ahead of the contract expiration at 5 p.m. ET on August 27.

Airing across local Fox affiliates in Detroit, Tampa Bay and Washington, D.C., today’s broadcasts warned viewers that Fox News, FS1, regional Fox stations and other network channels could vanish from YouTube TV if Google-owned YouTube TV and Fox fail to reach a renewal agreement by the Wednesday deadline. The calls to action highlighted the risk of missing coverage of prime fall sporting events, including NFL and college football, as well as Major League Baseball games.

USA Today reported that Fox has accused YouTube TV of leveraging its market dominance to demand “payments that significantly exceed what other partners with similar content portfolios receive,” while YouTube insists on a fair deal “without imposing extra costs on subscribers.” YouTube TV has promised a $10 credit to affected customers should Fox channels be unavailable for an extended period.

Viewers are encouraged to visit KeepFOX.com for the latest developments and tools to contact YouTube TV directly. Both parties remain in negotiations, with fans nationwide anxiously awaiting the outcome as the fall sports season begins.
