LEGO Unveils New Black Pearl-Inspired Set Today

Billund, Denmark - August 26, 2025 LEGO® and Disney today jointly announced the upcoming release of LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship, a detailed brick recreation of the legendary Black Pearl from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The announcement marks the return of the famed ghost galleon to LEGO’s adult-oriented Icons series after a 14-year hiatus.
In a statement released this afternoon, the LEGO Group revealed that the set, officially designated 10365, comprises 2,862 pieces and will retail for $379.99. Fans can begin early access purchases through the LEGO Insiders program starting September 12, 2025, with a general release on September 15, 2025, via LEGO.com and retail stores worldwide.
Key features of the new Black Pearl set include:
- Fully functional turning dials to deploy port and starboard cannons
- A steering wheel mechanism that operates the rudder
- A removable hull section to depict the ship “at sea” or mounted on a display stand
- An opening deck revealing the captain’s quarters, complete with miniature furnishings, candlesticks, and an apple accessory
- A detachable rowboat and commemorative figurehead minifigure
The set also includes a crew of eight intricately detailed minifigures-Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Joshamee Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, and Marty. Additionally, LEGO Insiders who purchase the set between September 12 and 18 will receive a buildable Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass gift-with-purchase, while supplies last.
