Ohio Lottery Unveils New Scratch Tickets as Mega Millions Jackpot Climbs to $253 Million

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Aug. 26, 2025) - The Ohio Lottery today launched several new scratch-off games and reminded players of tonight’s burgeoning Mega Millions jackpot, now estimated at $253 million.

The latest offerings include a trio of games priced at $5, $20 and $100, each featuring top prizes ranging from $100,000 to $300,000. The $100 ticket boasts odds of one $100 prize in every 1,111 tickets sold, while the $20 “Win Big” ticket offers a top prize of $100,000 plus a second-chance drawing for a trip to California’s big game, and weekly $100 cash prizes for scanned losing tickets via QR code. A new $2 “Mystery Multiplier” feature on the scratchers multiplies non-jackpot prizes, and overall print runs range from five million to six million tickets, depending on game type.

Meanwhile, Mega Millions players have until 11 p.m. ET to purchase tickets for tonight’s drawing, where the jackpot has rolled to an estimated $253 million annuity ($113.8 million cash) after no one matched all six numbers in Friday’s draw. The drawing, held bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, will air at 11 p.m. ET with numbers announced on local news outlets and at https://www.megamillions.com.

Players are reminded to check tickets promptly, as Ohio law requires winners to claim prizes within 180 days of the drawing date. Winners of non-jackpot prizes under $600 can file claims at any authorized retailer, while claims over $600 must be processed at the Ohio Lottery’s Columbus office or by mail.
