Scott Wolf Retains Temporary Sole Custody in Utah Court Ruling

A Utah judge on Tuesday, August 26, granted actor Scott Wolf temporary sole physical custody of his three children with estranged wife Kelley Wolf, according to documents reviewed by PEOPLE. Under the revised stipulated agreement filed August 22, Scott, 57, maintains decision-making authority for Jackson (16), Miller (12), and Lucy (11), while Kelley, 48, is permitted “liberal supervised” visitation and three supervised phone or video calls per week she initiates during reasonable hours.
The order also:
- Requires the children to attend “safe-harbor” therapy, with neither parent allowed to interfere with or subpoena therapy content.
- Imposes a gag order barring either parent from discussing the divorce, their children’s relationship with the other parent, or making disparaging remarks in any form.
- Grants Scott exclusive use of the family home in Park City, Utah; Kelley may only visit there during supervised parenting time with mutual agreement on a supervisor.
- Directs Scott to cover household expenses and provide Kelley with $10,000 per month for living costs-plus car payments, minimum credit-card payments, and some attorney fees-for two months; he will also cover up to $15,000 of her legal fees and certain treatment-center costs if needed.
Kelley’s attorney withdrew from the case on August 18, and she has 17 days to secure new counsel or represent herself pro se. The next court hearing is set for September 4.
This ruling follows Scott’s August 15 statement to PEOPLE alleging that Kelley made “disturbing and entirely false allegations” about him and that he released text messages in which she admitted plans to fabricate claims to gain leverage in court and public opinion. Scott’s representatives say his priority remains the well-being of their children and that he continues to request privacy for his family.
