Competition Calendar Confirmed The Football Association has already published the complete schedule for the 2025-26 Emirates FA Cup, with the first competitive action to begin in early September:

• Preliminary Round: Saturday, 16 August 2025
• First Round Qualifying: Saturday, 30 August 2025
• Second Round Qualifying: Saturday, 13 September 2025
• Third Round Qualifying: Saturday, 27 September 2025
• Fourth Round Qualifying: Saturday, 11 October 2025
• First Round Proper: Saturday, 1 November 2025

Next Steps for Non-League Sides Replays from the preliminary round will be concluded this week to finalize the 112 ties for the First Round Qualifying on 30 August. A total of 88 new entrants from Level 7 will join 136 preliminary-round winners at that stage.

Supporters looking to follow every tie should note that the tournament proper does not resume until November, when Football League clubs enter.
