Lainey Wilson Kicks Off Canadian Leg of Whirlwind World Tour in Calgary

CALGARY, AB (August 28, 2025) - Country superstar Lainey Wilson brought her Whirlwind World Tour to Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome tonight, marking the start of a three-city Canadian run. The sold-out show opened promptly at 7:00 PM, with Wilson supported by country acts ERNEST and Kaitlin Butts.

Under a sea of cowboy hats and cell-phone lights, Wilson delivered a high-energy, 18-song set blending fan favorites and deep cuts. Highlights included:

• “Watermelon Moonshine” from her debut album
• “Heart Like a Truck,” her 2x Platinum breakout hit
• A surprise duet of “Never Say Never” with ERNEST

Wilson’s on-stage prowess and storytelling resonated deeply with the packed Saddledome crowd. Tonight’s performance marks Wilson’s first Canadian concert since headlining major festivals this summer and follows her recent mentorship feature, in which she shared career-building insights with rising star Ella Langley.
