Powerball Drawing Schedule Confirmed: 10:59 PM ET Three Nights Weekly

Lottery officials today reiterated that the Powerball drawing continues to take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time from the Florida Lottery’s draw studio in Tallahassee.

Yesterday’s drawing was held as scheduled on Wednesday, August 27, at 10:59 PM ET, with players across 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands vying for an estimated $850 million jackpot (cash value $383.7 million). No drawing is conducted on Thursdays; the next opportunity to win arrives this Saturday, August 30, at 10:59 PM ET.

Tickets remain available for purchase until one to two hours before each draw, depending on jurisdiction. Drawings are also streamed live on Powerball.com and select state lottery websites.

Players are reminded that ticket sales cut off at 10:00 PM ET in most jurisdictions-and earlier in some-to prepare for the televised drawing. Winners may choose between an annuitized prize paid over 29 years or a lump-sum cash option.
