Mega Job Fair Draws Thousands to Amerant Bank Arena

Sunrise, FL - On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Amerant Bank Arena played host to one of South Florida’s largest employment events, welcoming job seekers and recruiters from across the region. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the arena’s concourse buzzed with activity as more than 50 employers sought to fill thousands of positions spanning entry-level to management roles.

Among the participating organizations were municipal agencies and major private-sector companies, including the City of Sunrise and its Police Department, Life Alert, New York Life Insurance, the Florida Panthers, the Miami Dolphins, Princess Cruises, Tropical Financial, 84 Lumber, Massey Services, the City of Boca Raton Police Department, USPS, and OneBlood. Attendees lined up as early as 10 a.m. to meet hiring managers, submit resumes, and participate in on-the-spot interviews that led to immediate job offers for some candidates.

Organizers emphasized the importance of pre-registration and encouraged applicants to upload resumes in advance, enabling recruiters to review profiles before the event and schedule interviews more efficiently. Free parking and easy access via public transportation contributed to the strong turnout, estimated in the thousands by arena officials.
