Nichols, NY - August 28, 2025
Country music star Carly Pearce brought Nashville’s heartfelt storytelling to Tioga Downs Racetrack this evening, headlining the venue’s summer concert series in front of a sold-out crowd. The Grammy, CMA and ACM award-winning artist treated fans to a two-hour set featuring her platinum-certified hits, deep album cuts and a stirring acoustic segment.
Opening with the blazing “Truck on Fire,” Pearce immediately ignited the amphitheater as spotlights danced across the infield. The audience roared along to her recent single “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” spotlighting the emotional duet’s soaring chorus. Mid-show, she slowed down for an intimate acoustic medley of “Every Little Thing” and “What He Didn’t Do,” drawing hushed awe before launching into the rousing final act.
Between songs, Pearce thanked Tioga Downs chairman Jeff Gural and her New York fans for their unwavering support, recalling her rise from Dollywood performer to Grand Ole Opry member. She closed the night with her breakthrough number “I Hope You’re Happy Now” alongside a video cameo from collaborator Lee Brice, stirring a standing ovation.
“Playing Tioga Downs tonight has been a dream,” Pearce told the crowd. “Your energy reminds me why I fell in love with performing.”
The concert marked the latest stop on her summer tour-sponsored by Mirabito and Pepsi-celebrating Pearce’s critically acclaimed album hummingbird and her storied country-pop catalog. With more dates on the schedule through September, she heads next to the Ford Amphitheatre in Colorado Springs before wrapping in California.
Tickets for tonight’s show sold out at $45, and fans lined up early for exclusive VIP meet-and-greet packages. Pearce’s performance at Tioga Downs continues a stellar run of live appearances in 2025 and underscores her status as one of country music’s most compelling voices.
