Jan Ravnik Joins Dancing With the Stars Season 34 as New Professional

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28, 2025 - Jan Ravnik, best known for his electrifying performances on Taylor Swift’s record-shattering Eras Tour, was announced today as the newest professional dancer on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars for its upcoming 34th season.
In an exclusive video message broadcast on Good Morning America, Ravnik said, “Good morning, America. I traveled all around the world with the Eras Tour, and now I’m stepping onto the ballroom stage for Dancing With the Stars. The Mirrorball never goes out of style, and we are determined to win it.” The Slovenia-born choreographer gained global prominence touring with Swift throughout 2023 and 2024, and has also performed alongside artists such as Mariah Carey, Paula Abdul and Bruno Mars, as well as at the 97th Academy Awards.
Production insiders teased the announcement earlier this week when the show’s social channels shared a purple-hued graphic-an homage to Swift’s Speak Now era-sparking fan speculation. Ravnik first fueled rumors of his DWTS debut when he posted a rehearsal clip with veteran pro Jenna Johnson, prompting excitement across social media.
While his celebrity partner has not yet been revealed, the full season 34 cast-including wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, influencer Alix Earle and reality stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt-will be unveiled on Good Morning America on Sept. 3 at 7 a.m. ET. The new season premieres Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming available on Hulu.
With his dynamic stage presence and extensive choreography credentials, Ravnik joins DWTS aiming to add a fresh competitive edge. “We’re ready to claim that Mirrorball Trophy,” he affirmed.
