Helix Closure and Traffic Impact Port Authority crews closed two of three eastbound lanes on the helix leading into the Lincoln Tunnel after responding to a crash. Transit Options Unaffected Commuters opting for public transit faced no disruptions: Metro-North, NJ Transit rail, and PATH trains continued operating on schedule, and ferry services remained unaffected by the tunnel incident.
