Natasha Allen’s GoFundMe Surpasses $49,000 Following Her Passing

August 28, 2025 - Natasha Allen’s friends and online community have rallied to support the late TikTok star’s legacy, as the GoFundMe page established in her honor has raised over $49,000 toward a revised $60,000 goal. Allen, who documented her battle with synovial sarcoma since her 2020 diagnosis, passed away on August 22 at age 28 after a five-year fight with the rare soft-tissue cancer.

The fundraiser, originally launched by Allen’s friend Matthew Dougherty to cover medical expenses, was retitled “In Memory of Natasha” following her death. In a message posted early this morning, Dougherty announced that the initial donations will now underwrite Allen’s memorial service, and that any remaining funds will be directed to synovial sarcoma research.

“Natasha amassed massive social media followings on Instagram and TikTok, spreading awareness of synovial sarcoma & the realities of living with cancer,” Dougherty wrote. “She built so much, spread so much love, and left so much for us to take up in her absence.”

Allen’s candid vlogs chronicled every phase of her treatment-from surgery to multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation-and earned her a devoted following of over 225,000 across TikTok and Instagram. In her final posts, she urged viewers to find meaning in their lives and to support efforts toward better treatments for rare cancers.
