Oasis Reunion Tour Ignites Chicago Tonight

Chicago, IL - August 28, 2025
Oasis’s highly anticipated “Live ’25” reunion tour arrives in Chicago tonight with a sold-out concert at Soldier Field, marking the band’s only Midwestern stop in their limited U.S. run.
A spectacular drone display illuminated the Chicago skyline Wednesday night, as hundreds of drones formed Oasis’s iconic logo above the stadium in anticipation of the show. The free aerial performance echoed similar spectacles in Dublin and Toronto, setting the stage for what promises to be a landmark evening for fans across the Midwest.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. under strict NFL All-Clear Bag policies, with parking lots available from 3:30 p.m. The concert officially begins at 7:30 p.m., featuring American rockers Cage the Elephant as the opening act. Despite the show’s sell-out status, last-minute resale tickets remain available through the band’s official website and secondary platforms.
Earlier this week, Oasis merch pop-ups launched in Wicker Park, drawing long lines for exclusive apparel, limited-edition vinyl, and the Adidas Originals x Oasis collection. The fan store remains open through September 2, offering one-of-a-kind tour memorabilia ahead of tonight’s performance.
Formed in Manchester in 1991, Oasis achieved global success with hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” disbanding in 2009 amid notorious sibling rivalries. Their reunion tour, limited to three U.S. cities-Chicago, East Rutherford, NJ, and Pasadena, CA-marks the first time Liam and Noel Gallagher have shared the stage in America since 2008.
With stadiums sold out on both sides of the Atlantic, tonight’s Chicago performance cements Oasis’s enduring legacy and reignites Britpop fervor for a new generation of fans. Severe thunderstorm watches have been issued for the Chicago area, but forecasts predict only a 50% chance of early evening showers, clearing in time for the show’s finale.
