SLOANE STEPHENS MAKES HEADLINES ON AUGUST 28, 2025

NEW YORK, Aug. 28, 2025 - Former US Open champion Sloane Stephens dominated headlines today with two major off-court announcements that underscore her expanding influence beyond the tennis courts.
In the morning, Stephens unveiled Doc & Glo, her inaugural haircare collection developed in partnership with wellness brand Doc & Glo. The line comprises four core products-Scalp Shift Resetting Shampoo; Strand Strong Strengthening Conditioner; Growth Theory Nourishing Hair Oil; and Healthy Hair Habit Nutraceutical Hair Support Supplement-designed to address the unique hair-health challenges faced by athletes and frequent travelers. Stephens emphasized simplicity and efficacy, noting, “With my lifestyle of constant travel and competition, I often found myself without my favorite products. I wanted to create something that is simple and rooted in the wellness practices I believe in.” The collection is available online and at select retailers nationwide.
Later in the day, Stephens joined the festivities at Arthur Ashe Stadium as part of US Open HBCU Live & Althea Gibson Celebration, spotlighting the legacy of tennis pioneer Althea Gibson and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Representing Florida A&M University, Stephens participated in on-court demonstrations with the FAMU tennis team and commended the event’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion. “Honoring Althea Gibson’s legacy reminds us of the doors she opened for athletes of all backgrounds,” Stephens said. The celebration featured performances by FAMU’s Marching 100 and an HBCU Yard Experience that drew thousands of fans to experience Black college culture at the year’s final Grand Slam.
