Boston experienced a pleasant late-summer day on Friday, marked by partly cloudy skies, mild temperatures, and a gentle breeze.
The morning began cool and dry, with temperatures around 64°F at 6 a.m., rising to 69°F by 9 a.m. As the sun climbed, the afternoon high reached 73°F at noon and peaked at 74°F by 1 p.m., before gradually easing to 72°F at 3 p.m. and 69°F by 6 p.m. Overnight, skies remained partly cloudy with temperatures falling to 66°F by evening and into the low 60s later at night.
Wind speeds were modest throughout the day, averaging 8-11 mph from the west, with gusts up to 11 mph during the afternoon hours. No measurable precipitation was recorded, and humidity levels remained comfortable under partly cloudy conditions.
Looking ahead, scattered thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday, with daytime highs in the low 70s and overnight lows near 63°F.
