Danny Ramirez Expands Film Ventures with New Production Company and Scarface Adaptation

Los Angeles, August 29, 2025 - Actor Danny Ramirez today announced two major developments in his burgeoning film career. First, Ramirez and longtime friend Tom Culliver officially launched their production company, Pinstripes, with the mission of bringing underrepresented stories to the screen. Second, Ramirez revealed he will both produce and star in a new adaptation of Scarface, marking his first major producing role.

Pinstripes aims to champion fresh voices and untold narratives. The company’s debut project, Dead Man’s Wire, directed by Gus Van Sant and starring Bill Skarsgård and Dacre Montgomery, will premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 2 before screening at TIFF. Ramirez, known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, described Pinstripes as “a platform for stories often overlooked,” reflecting his decade-long passion for independent cinema.

In a separate venture, Ramirez is set to bring a modern vision to the legendary Scarface story. According to industry reports, he will both produce and play the lead role in the new adaptation, collaborating closely with creative partner Tom Culliver. The project is still in early development, but insiders say Ramirez’s involvement signals a bold reinterpretation of the classic crime saga.
