FuboTV Unveils New “Skinny” Sports Bundle Ahead of NFL Season

By PCMag Staff August 29, 2025

FuboTV today announced the launch of a streamlined “Fubo Sports” package designed to attract football enthusiasts as the 2025 NFL season approaches. The new offering, priced at $56 per month, will debut nationwide on September 2 and includes local ABC, CBS, and Fox broadcasts, plus major cable sports networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, NFL Network, SEC Network, and Tennis Channel.

Under the terms of a $220 million agreement earlier this year, Disney acquired a 70 percent stake in FuboTV, enabling subscribers to access ESPN’s unlimited plan-covering over 47,000 live events annually-from all major U.S. sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, college football and basketball, NASCAR, and UFC. New customers will receive a $10 discount on their first month, along with complimentary access to ESPN’s standalone unlimited plan (normally $30 per month). The subscription also features unlimited DVR, on-demand video, and Family Share options.

Priced significantly lower than FuboTV’s existing packages-$95 for Elite and $85 for Essential and Pro-the “Fubo Sports” bundle seeks to undercut competitors. DirecTV and Comcast offer similar sports tiers at $70 per month, while a newly introduced ESPN + Fox One bundle retails for $40 per month.

David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of FuboTV, commented, “The introduction of Fubo Sports will enhance our extensive content lineup, catering to dedicated sports fans. With our flagship pay TV streaming service, standalone sports options, pay-per-view events, and now Fubo Sports, we will persist in providing consumers with a variety of competitively priced content choices within the Fubo ecosystem”.
