EIA Reports Decline in Gulf of America Natural Gas Production
Washington, August 29, 2025 - The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) today released its monthly Federal Offshore Gulf of America Natural Gas Marketed Production report, showing production of 655,608 million cubic feet (MMcf) in June 2025, down from 736,792 MMcf a year earlier, a 10.96 percent decrease. The data, which cover marketed production from offshore facilities in the Gulf of America region, were published in the EIA’s Natural Gas Monthly and are part of the agency’s ongoing series of production and consumption statistics. The next monthly update is scheduled for September 30, 2025.
