Alaska PFD Program Stimulus Payment Update - August 30, 2025

ANCHORAGE, Aug. 30, 2025 - Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) division today reminded qualifying residents that the final deadline to update direct-deposit and address information ahead of this year’s $1,702 stimulus-style PFD payment is August 31, 2025.

Alaska Department of Revenue officials emphasized that any banking or mailing-address changes submitted after the end of day on Sunday will not be reflected in the mass payments scheduled for October 23, 2025. Residents who filed for the 2024 dividend and remain in an “Eligible-Not Paid” status as of August 13 have already received disbursements on August 21. The remaining payments-including those for applications reaching “Eligible-Not Paid” status by October 13-are slated for an October 23 release.

To ensure timely receipt of the $1,702 dividend, Alaskans must:

  • Verify residency eligibility for calendar year 2024 (continuous Alaska residency, intent to remain, and absence of disqualifying criminal convictions)
  • Confirm physical presence requirements (at least 72 hours in Alaska during 2023 or 2024)
  • Update direct-deposit details or mailing address via the myPFD portal or by submitting forms before August 31, 2025

The PFD program, funded by the Alaska Permanent Fund’s oil-revenue investments, disburses an annual dividend to more than 600,000 eligible residents. This year’s $1,702 payment consists of a base dividend of $1,403.83 plus a $298.17 energy-relief bonus.

Officials also warned of ongoing phishing attempts targeting myAlaska users with fraudulent texts requesting password changes. Alaskans are urged to ignore any unsolicited requests and to access account updates only through the official PFD website at pfd.alaska.gov.

For further information and to check individual application status, residents should log in to myPFD or visit the Alaska Department of Revenue’s PFD Division webpage.
