High Potential Wraps First Season with Record Ratings, Fuels Season 2 Momentum

ABC’s breakout procedural High Potential closed out its inaugural season on a high note today, August 30, 2025, delivering its strongest performance yet across both linear and streaming platforms.
The February 11 season finale-featuring Kaitlin Olson as single-mother-turned-consultant Morgan Gillory-amassed 13.2 million total viewers and a 2.59 rating among adults 18-49 within seven days of airing on ABC, Hulu, and Hulu on Disney+-tying the show’s highest-ever viewership and setting a new record as ABC’s most-watched drama episode on streaming.
On broadcast television, the finale also topped Tuesday night for a second consecutive week, drawing 8.7 million live viewers and a 0.76 adults 18-49 rating, outpacing CBS’s FBI by 9 percent-the largest margin for a rival scripted series on a Tuesday in over six years.
With these landmark numbers and strong streaming traction, High Potential has cemented its reputation as one of ABC’s flagship dramas and generated significant buzz ahead of its eagerly awaited Season 2. Season 1 is currently available to binge on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
