Powerball Drawing on Saturday, August 30, 2025

DETROIT - Saturday night’s Powerball drawing produced no jackpot winner, extending the game’s streak to 40 drawings without a top‐prize claim. The drawing at 10:59 p.m. ET yielded the numbers 3 - 18 - 22 - 27 - 33 with a Powerball of 17. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
With no ticket matching all six numbers, the jackpot rolls to an estimated $1 billion, making it the sixth‐largest in Powerball history. Players who match all five white balls and the Powerball can choose between the advertised annuity paid over 30 years or a one-time cash option of $453 million, both figures before taxes.
Although no grand‐prize winner emerged, one player in Ohio matched five white balls, winning $1 million. That prize tripled to $3 million under the 3x Power Play option. Additionally, 42 tickets nationwide captured prizes of $50,000, and nine tickets won $200,000 by matching four white balls plus the Powerball.
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play, with an optional $1 Power Play add-on available to multiply non-jackpot prizes. Drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. ET. The next drawing is scheduled for Monday, September 1, 2025, shortly after 11 p.m. ET.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized retailers in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ticket sales close one to two hours before each drawing, depending on the jurisdiction.
