News Bulletin: Kris Aquino - August 31, 2025

Manila, Philippines - Television personality Kris Aquino has no new public developments as of Sunday, August 31, 2025. The “Queen of All Media” remains in preventive isolation at her family compound in Tarlac, continuing an aggressive medical treatment plan for her multiple autoimmune diseases.

Earlier this month, Aquino disclosed on Instagram that she would undergo a six-month isolation period to undergo a series of infusions and closely monitored therapies, after having a port-a-cath surgically implanted on August 20-21, 2025. She requested that her doctors complete the procedures before August 21, to coincide with the commemoration of her late father, former Senator Ninoy Aquino.

Aquino has battled an expanding list of autoimmune conditions-now totaling eleven-including fibromyalgia, polymyositis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and mixed connective tissue disease. Her physicians have set a six-month timeline to evaluate and adjust her treatment regimen, during which Aquino is under strict isolation and receiving multiple immunosuppressive infusions.

In her most recent update on August 21, she expressed gratitude to her supporters and medical team, crediting her two sons, Josh and Bimby, as her greatest motivators. Aquino adopted the hashtag #LabanKris (“Fight, Kris”) to document her recovery journey and encourage collective prayers and well-wishes from her followers.

No further health updates or public appearances were reported on August 31, as Aquino focuses on rehabilitation activities-such as guided cooking sessions and physical therapy-within the safety of her family’s estate. Her supporters continue to rally online, sending messages of hope and faith for her full recovery.
