In Saturday night’s Powerball drawing (Aug. 30), no player matched all five white balls and the red Powerball, causing the jackpot to swell to an estimated $1.1 billion for Monday’s Labor Day drawing. The one-time cash option for the top prize stands at $498.4 million before taxes.

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 with a red Powerball 17, and the Power Play multiplier was 3x.

While the jackpot went unclaimed, several players secured lower-tier prizes:

Monday’s drawing marks the 40th consecutive drawing since the jackpot was last won on May 31, 2025, in California. The record for the longest run without a jackpot winner is 42 drawings, set in April 2024.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play with an optional $1 Power Play for non-jackpot prizes. Drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET and are live streamed on Powerball.com. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9, while the odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

Players can choose between a 30-year annuity of $1.1 billion or the lump-sum cash option of $498.4 million, both before taxes. The next drawing will be held at the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee, Fla., on Monday, September 1, at 10:59 p.m. ET.
