No Powerball Jackpot Winner, Prize Swells to $1.1 B for Labor Day Drawing

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 31, 2025 - The Powerball jackpot remains unclaimed for the 40th consecutive drawing after Saturday’s numbers went unmatched, pushing the grand prize to an estimated $1.10 billion for Monday night’s Labor Day drawing.

Saturday’s drawing produced the following numbers: 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 and the red Powerball 17, with a Power Play multiplier of 3x. While no ticket matched all six numbers, a total of nine tickets won the $1 million prize and three of those, which included Power Play, each collected $2 million. Lower-tier prizes included 115 tickets winning $50,000 and 27 tickets winning $150,000.

Monday’s drawing is set for 10:59 p.m. ET, offering players a chance at the fifth-largest jackpot in Powerball history. The annuitized prize remains at $1.10 billion, with a cash option of approximately $498.4 million before taxes. Winners choosing the annuity will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5 percent each year.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with an optional $1 Power Play add-on. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9, while the odds of hitting the jackpot stand at 1 in 292.2 million.
