Roman Reigns Triumphs Again at WWE Clash in Paris

PARIS, Aug. 31, 2025 - Roman Reigns made a triumphant return to the ring this evening at WWE Clash in Paris, defeating Bronson Reed in a hard-fought opening contest before 40,000 fans at the Paris La Défense Arena.

Reigns, sporting two traditional Ula Fala necklaces in red and black as a tribute to his late father, Sika Anoa‘i, and uncle, Afa Anoa‘i, dominated the bout despite Reed’s early power advantage. After a series of near-falls and high-impact maneuvers-including a reverse Death Valley Driver counter that ignited the crowd-Reigns secured the pinfall following his signature spear.

In a tense post-match moment, Reigns accepted Paul Heyman’s acknowledgment by reclaiming his shoes and, in a show of dominance, applied the guillotine choke to his longtime advocate. The celebratory mood was cut short when Bron Breakker ambushed Reigns, spearing him through a ringside table and leaving him stretchered backstage.

Earlier on the broadcast, WWE Chief Content Officer Michael Cole announced that Reigns would accompany his cousin, Jey Uso, to the ring for tonight’s Fatal 4-Way World Heavyweight Championship main event, further cementing Reigns’ role as The Tribal Chief in the evolving Bloodline saga.
