Powerball Jackpot Rolls Over to $1.1 B After No Winner on August 30

Monday, September 1, 2025 (AP) - No ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, pushing the estimated jackpot to $1.1 billion for tonight’s Labor Day drawing, the fifth-largest prize in game history.

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday, August 30, were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 and the Powerball 17, with a Power Play multiplier of 3x. With no grand-prize winner, the annuitized jackpot stands at $1.1 billion, or a lump-sum cash option of $498.4 million before taxes.

Despite the rollover, several players struck it rich in lower tiers:

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tonight’s drawing will mark the 40th consecutive drawing since the jackpot was last won on May 31 in California, a streak that is approaching the game’s record of 42 rollovers set in April 2024.

Tickets are sold for $2 per play in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Players can add the Power Play option for an extra $1 to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to 10x. Good luck!
