Lifetime Premieres “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality” Docuseries

September 1, 2025 (Los Angeles) - Today, Lifetime debuted its highly anticipated eight-part documentary series “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality”, chronicling the real-life journey of Todd and Julie Chrisley as they emerge from federal prison to reconnect with their family.

The network launched the series with a special two-hour premiere event airing tonight at 8/7c, with the continuation airing tomorrow, September 2. Executive producers from Bunim/Murray Productions captured intimate footage from both professional crews and the family’s own cell phones, creating a raw and immersive portrayal of the Chrisleys’ reunion and emotional struggles.

Savannah, Chase, Grayson, Chloe, and grandmother Nanny Faye navigate the fallout of Todd and Julie’s convictions for bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion, which resulted in their imprisonment in early 2025. The first episode highlights the family’s fragmentation: Todd’s release from Pensacola, Florida, Julie’s return from Lexington, Kentucky, and the siblings’ efforts to maintain stability back home in Nashville.
