Doubles Triumph Partnering with Romania’s Elena-Gabriela Ruse, Kostyuk secured a straight-sets victory over the 14th-seeded duo Beatriz Haddad Maia and Laura Siegemund, 6-3, 6-2, in just 1 hour 24 minutes to reach the women’s doubles round of 16 at the US Open. The Ukrainian-Romanian pair dominated on serve-striking one ace and converting five breaks-while allowing no break-point opportunities against their seeded opponents.

Singles Spotlight Earlier on Monday, Kostyuk prepared to face Czech 11th seed Karolína Muchová in the women’s singles fourth round, marking her deepest run at the US Open since 2020 and 2024.
