Phillies Rally Past Brewers 10-8 in Wild Labor Day Clash

In a seesaw Labor Day affair at American Family Field, the Philadelphia Phillies erased an early deficit and surged past the Milwaukee Brewers, 10-8, on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The Brewers jumped out to a 4-0 lead with home runs by Brice Turang (his 17th) and Caleb Durbin (his 10th) in the first two innings, aided by a two-run double from Blake Perkins⁽¹⁾. Reliever Shelby Miller (1.0 IP) earned the win, while Milwaukee’s bullpen absorbed six total runs over the final 4.2 innings. The Phillies improve to 80-58 and remain atop the NL East, while the Brewers fall to 85-54 but maintain a 6.5-game lead in the NL Central⁽7⁾.
