Todd Chrisley Unveils South Carolina Relocation Plans as Family’s New Series Premieres

NASHVILLE, Sept. 1, 2025 - Reality TV star Todd Chrisley revealed today that he and his wife, Julie, intend to relocate back to their native South Carolina-but only once production commitments for their Lifetime series and other projects conclude.

Chrisley told PEOPLE that the timing “is going to depend on how things fall with production and other projects that we’re working on right now.” The couple, who spent more than two years in federal prison before receiving full pardons in May, have remained in Nashville as they film The Chrisleys: Back to Reality.

Tonight marks the two-night premiere of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality on Lifetime at 8 p.m. ET. The series, which documents the family’s reintegration into everyday life following their presidential pardon, debuted with its first episode this evening.

“I think staying in Nashville makes sense for now,” Chrisley added, “but there’s a pull to go back to Charleston-to that coastal area-once we wrap these shows.” He and Julie have teased plans to convert a historic mansion into a hotel, with an anticipated spin-off series centered on its renovation.

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality continues tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime, with subsequent episodes chronicling how the family adapts to life after incarceration and pursues new ventures in South Carolina.
