Netflix Confirms “Wednesday” Season 2 Part 2 Premiere for September 3

Los Angeles - Netflix today announced its September 2025 slate, headlined by the return of the gothic mystery comedy Wednesday with the second half of its sophomore season. The four remaining episodes of Season 2 will arrive globally on Wednesday, September 3, at 12 a.m. PT (3 a.m. ET) on Netflix.

The new batch of episodes kicks off with “Hide and Woe Seek,” picking up immediately after the midseason cliffhanger in which Wednesday narrowly survived a near-fatal encounter. Co-creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar promise a darker, more complex storyline as Wednesday grapples with haunting psychic visions and resurging threats at Nevermore Academy.

Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 drew 50 million views in its first week, marking the highest opening for an English-language Netflix series since Season 1. Jenna Ortega returns in the titular role, joined by Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, and Isaac Ordonez. Pop superstar Lady Gaga makes her acting debut as Rosaline Rotwood, an enigmatic new teacher whose original song “Dead Dance” features prominently in the soundtrack.
