Jane Krakowski to Star as Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary! on Broadway

New York, September 2, 2025 - Tony and Olivier Award-winning actress Jane Krakowski has been announced as the next performer to take on the title role of Mary Todd Lincoln in Cole Escola’s hit comedy Oh, Mary! on Broadway. Krakowski will begin her eight-week engagement at the Lyceum Theatre on October 14, 2025, and will continue through December 7, replacing current star Jinkx Monsoon, who concludes her run on September 28.

Krakowski, best known for her Emmy-nominated work on 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, returns to the Broadway stage following her Tony-nominated performance in the 2016 revival of She Loves Me. This engagement marks her first Broadway appearance since 2016 and adds to her impressive theatrical résumé, which includes a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Nine and an Olivier Award for Guys and Dolls.

Directors and producers hailed Krakowski’s casting as a seamless fit for the role. “Jane’s comic brilliance and musical prowess make her the perfect Mary Todd Lincoln,” remarked director Sam Pinkleton. Oh, Mary! originally opened on Broadway on July 11, 2024, at the Lyceum Theatre and broke box office records as the first show of the 2024-25 season to recoup its investment. The production has since extended its run through July 5, 2026, following multiple record-breaking weeks.
