Jimmy Kimmel Returns to Host “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” with A-List Lineup

Los Angeles, CA - Tuesday, September 2, 2025 - After a week of guest hosts following Labor Day, Emmy®-winning late-night host Jimmy Kimmel made his highly anticipated return to ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday night, opening the 21st season with a star-studded lineup and a rousing monologue addressing current events.

In his first show back, Kimmel welcomed Academy Award® winner Denzel Washington to discuss his latest film, Highest 2 Lowest, alongside model and entrepreneur Brooks Nader, who reflected on her recent campaign, Love Thy Nader. Musical guest The Marías closed the evening with a spirited performance of their hit single, “Only in My Mind”.

Kimmel opened the episode by acknowledging the Los Angeles wildfires that have displaced thousands across Southern California, urging viewers to support local relief efforts. He then dove into his trademark satirical take on Hollywood politics and pop culture, earning laughs with sharp jabs at the week’s biggest headlines.

Next week’s schedule for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” includes appearances by Mark Hamill and Andrew Santino with musical guest Gigi Perez on Wednesday, followed by Regina King and Michael Chiklis with Supergrass on Thursday. Friday’s lineup is to be announced.
