Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison Tie the Knot over Labor Day Weekend

September 2, 2025 (AP) - Actress Chloë Grace Moretz and model-photographer Kate Harrison celebrated their marriage over Labor Day weekend, the couple confirmed in an interview with Vogue published today. After nearly seven years together, the pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony, with both brides wearing custom Louis Vuitton designs by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.

The ceremony, kept intimate and undisclosed in location, featured Moretz in a light blue, Old Hollywood-inspired gown paired with a matching veil and long gloves, reflecting her desire for a non-traditional wedding dress. Harrison opted for a classic white bustier gown with a sweetheart neckline and a birdcage veil extending into a cathedral-length train.

The couple first sparked engagement rumors in early 2024 when they were spotted wearing rings at Disneyland. Moretz seemingly confirmed their engagement on New Year’s Day 2025 by posting a photo of the two holding hands and showcasing matching diamond rings. In their Vogue interview, Moretz shared that she proposed, delighting in the idea of exchanging two engagement rings ahead of their wedding.

Guests at the weekend’s festivities enjoyed activities dear to the couple’s hearts, including fishing, horseback riding, and poker-complete with a custom poker mat crafted by Harrison-and a second-day line dancing celebration. In an Instagram message accompanying their Vogue feature, Moretz expressed immense gratitude to Louis Vuitton and Ghesquière, writing, “Words can hardly capture how this feels… Your generosity, creativity, commitment, and kindness are boundless. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it”.

Moretz publicly came out as gay in November 2024, describing her vote for legal protections for the LGBTQ+ community as “essential,” and has since kept her relationship with Harrison largely private until today’s joyful announcement.
