South Carolina Lottery News - September 2, 2025

COLUMBIA, SC (September 2, 2025) - The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) reminds players that due to the Labor Day holiday, no in-state draw games were held on Monday, and SCEL offices were closed. Regular game drawings and retail operations resume on Tuesday, September 3.
Powerball® Jackpot Climbs The multi-state Powerball® jackpot continues to swell, reaching an estimated $1.3 billion after no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday’s drawing. South Carolina players are eligible to participate in the next Powerball® drawing on Wednesday evening.
Palmetto Cash 5 and Daily Draw Games
- Palmetto Cash 5, Pick 3, Pick 4, and Cash Pop drawings are held seven days a week at 6:59 p.m. Players should check official SCEL channels for tomorrow’s winning numbers.
- Jackpots for Palmetto Cash 5 remain at a minimum of $100,000, increasing by at least $10,000 daily until won.
Office Closure and Claiming Reminder SCEL retail and claims offices were closed on Monday for Labor Day and reopened today at regular business hours. Players with winning tickets are reminded that prizes up to $500 can be claimed at any authorized lottery retailer, while prizes from $501 to $100,000 must be claimed via mail. Prizes over $100,000 require an in-person visit to the SCEL headquarters in Columbia.
