Simultaneously, leaked Amazon listings revealed pricing details for both standard and collector’s editions of the upcoming title.
In the livestream broadcast at 11 a.m. PT/7 p.m. BST/8 p.m. CEST on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels, IO Interactive showcased sequences from Bond’s inaugural mission as an MI6 recruit. Viewers witnessed high-stakes espionage action ranging from sleek on-foot stealth approaches and intense gunfights to a dynamic high-speed car chase featuring James Bond behind the wheel of an Aston Martin. The session concluded with a developer deep dive, during which IO Interactive representatives explained the game’s “Creative Approach” system, emphasizing player choice in mission execution.
According to Sony’s official blog, the presentation highlighted two distinct missions:
- A covert operation at a high-stakes chess tournament in Slovakia culminating in a high-altitude showdown.
- An infiltration of a lavish gala in Kensington, London, demonstrating the game’s blend of tension and cinematic flair.
Meanwhile, Amazon listings surfaced today indicating that the standard edition of 007: First Light will retail for $70, while a $300 collector’s edition-complete with a six-pound package-was spotted across multiple platform listings, excluding Nintendo Switch 2.
